During in-person sessions Brett’s exceptional teaching skills are evident, in his demonstrations of the proper form for each exercise and in his encouragement and constructive suggestions during my attempts. His remarkable ability to break down complex skills into more manageable steps and willingness to modify exercises to suit a beginner’s level show both his extensive fitness knowledge and flexible, patient approach. For workouts completed on my own, Succession Lifestyle provides an easy-to-use app that includes helpful videos of each exercise and holds me accountable as I track my daily progress.

In conjunction with the training, Brett’s sound nutrition advice and meal-planning strategies have given me tools that I can carry forward in the long term. Although I managed to lose 20 lbs in the months prior to starting with Succession Lifestyle, the diet I was following was not optimal. Brett took the time to listen and then developed personalized, much healthier, meal recommendations. Following these has enabled me to lose an additional 40 lbs over the past three months while simultaneously building muscle, drastically reducing my body fat percentage and making huge improvements on a variety of metabolic measures.

Brett’s coaching sessions have been invaluable, as he has been able to empathize with concerns and to share insights that can only come from having lived experience of the journey back to a healthy lifestyle. On rare occasions when challenges have arisen, Brett has been honest and direct with me, always professional, always focused on helping me progress.
